About MEGA Hubs
MEGA Hubs bring schools, young people, employers and partners together to make future technology careers more visible, accessible and achievable. Through employer encounters, mentoring, industry challenges, workplace experiences and skills activity, MEGA helps young people understand emerging career pathways, build confidence and connect into TechFirst, apprenticeships and future employment opportunities.
TechFirst AI apprenticeship Pathways
TechFirst AI Apprenticeship Pathways are designed to support young people at risk of becoming NEET by providing an alternative technical Level 3 destination. Building on a proof-of-concept programme underway across the North West, participants are supported to progress into either an AI Digital Technician or AI Content Creator apprenticeship, creating clear progression routes into Level 4 and Level 6 apprenticeships and long-term careers in the technology sector. As well as developing future talent, the programme helps young people make a positive transition into education, employment and training. Delivered in partnership with local authorities, employers and education providers, the programme creates clear routes into skilled employment while helping to develop the future digital workforce.
Our Impact
Delivering a unique technology talent acquisition solution, IN4 unlocks the potential from within diverse and disadvantaged communities and maps this into organisations that are scaled through its innovation hubs and programmes.
Our Partners
We work in collaboration with education, public and private sectors to ensure a diverse pipeline of future tech talent.
It was a great experience, it definitely helped me with my confidence level and how to speak in front of a crowd without getting nervous.
I found all parts fun as they taught a good lesson, and we had a fun time playing
Just wanted to say a massive thanks to you, Abdi and Brad for everything you have done for the students. The students really enjoyed the sessions and have learnt so much. Thanks again and hopefully we can do something again in the future
Excellent day, great activities. Excellent staff and very knowledgeable. These days are vital in allowing opportunities.
Both students and staff had a great day. The sessions were interactive and students remained fully engaged.
The MEGA Hub days have been invaluable for our students. Being exposed to tech and cyber activities and being exposed to careers information outside of the classroom has really engaged our pupils. All of the days I have attended have been well planned, pitched and delivered by the brilliant IN4 staff. I am very much looking forward to returning next year and also excited to see the super curriculum.
We feel immensely privileged to be able to volunteer time supporting the MEGA Hubs programme. It is such a thrill to be able to inspire young people, especially those from underrepresented groups, to consider a future in tech.
You’ve got the space and resources that can cope with the massive upscaling we’re delivering for cyber skills in the future. Other parts of the country are going to have to find the space, you can hit the ground running.
